Ophelia-Nightshade

this is my first journal entry in almost a year. Its been an interesting year indeed, filled with late nights in graveyards with energy drinks and cameras, rolling in snow, showering in thunderstorms, evening tea, alligators and all manner of whimsical events. I'd say the biggest news is that I'm now a Mrs. Ophelia-nightshade. Not that much art has been put up recently because of all the hussle of trying to arrange a wedding. But now that's out of the way, I've got some photoshoots planned out that may take some planning, but I cant wait to get on them. there will be blood...(well, stage blood) mwuahaha.

Eh I'm such a slacker with my art these days. I've got a job now and I'm trying to save up for a place to live. but I'm working at wafflehouse so my hours are crazy and I'm constantly exhausted. When i'm not working I've been using that time to go hang out with friends like :ame-dono: if you dont know who she is, check her out. Shes awesome. I'm trying to work out a photoshoot with a friend of mine so hopefully there will be new material soon!

So my birthday was last saturday. Cake was had, because of course, cake makes everything better. I got myself a ring to commemorate, because there was this lovely silver crescent moon and star ring and it was a crescent moon on my birthday. Jiu-jitsu has been a lot of fun, a lot of work though, you defiantly get a killer workout. Having trouble sleeping again, well more getting to sleep than actually sleeping. I'm trying in my spare time to build up a photography portfolio so hopefully that will go well. I want to go out some where and get some good candid shots of interesting people, perhaps I'll do that this weekend...
